Hey there, I’m Miki.

founder, designer, & your new best friend

I was born and raised in Minnesota, spending my childhood telling everyone I was going to be an artist. I traveled west to beautiful Bozeman, Montana for college and got my degree in Marketing from Montana State University. To keep true to my roots, I interned (with the woman who quickly became my mentor) in a graphic design position and my passion for it grew like a wildfire.

Over the years I honed my skills working in agencies, corporate settings, and freelance gigs. Once the freelance projects became more and more steady, Sugar Sugar Creative was born.

I moved back to Minnesota in 2020 and am running everything from Minneapolis with my sidekick, Walt. I’m a sucker for a good concert, a bourbon cocktail, and spontaneous plans.
